Asia Pattaya Beach Hotel – Wonderful Hotel
My wife and I have been using the Asia Pattaya Beach Hotel for many years, a truly wonderful location with by far the best staff in Thailand.
The Asia Pattaya Beach Hotel is situated in South Pattaya and nestles at the foot of what we know as South Cliff Road, about 3kms for the centre of town. The rooms although basic in some respects are maintained well by a friendly cleaning team, the same who are always keen to help. We find that by leaving around 20 Baht(40-45p) on the bed maybe every couple of days makes a hell of a difference. The food, particularly the breakfast is sublime, wonderful quality and it keeps you going all day as there is so much of it.
There are many small restaurants and bars close by and a very good laundry some 300 yards up the road, inexpensive and so impressive in how they package your clothing on return.
The golf course is a bonus, the hotel looks over this 9-hole spread, around ?6.00 shall allow you to play golf for as long as you like and with their clubs.
Town can be hectic but hugely enjoyable nevertheless, the Asia Pattaya Beach Hotel is just far enough away from all the activity, you can have it pretty much on your own terms, a 150 baht (?2.60) taxi ride from the hotel will get you there.
Room service at the Asia Pattaya Beach Hotel is also excellent, great service, superb food and well presented. The pool, gym, Thai massage service, breathtaking scenery and the lovely beach make this hotel the place to stay in Pattaya, we expect to be going there for many years to come.
One minus against it at the moment, the outside needs to be re-painted, the white now looks a little tired and grey.

Great for everyone !!!
Having trave’led throughout Thailand and staying in mostly three and four star hotels, found this hotel ideal. I’m a single traveler, like to go out at nights etc. However this is a great place for couples or families. Quiet street between the beach and the big shopping center on second street. A 10 baht tuk tuk ride to walking street 5 mins. Good value for money. Has pool for relaxing. Will stay again.

Great for what you pay for
The staff in this hotel were great. The hotel was great value for money and the rooms were large / tidy and clean. The hotel did have wireless internet however the signal wasn’t strong enough to reach from my room. Soi 1 is a taxi ride to walking street and there are also a few bars at the top of Soi 1 near big C.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Soi 1 is a taxi ride from walking st however only a short walk to Big C (a local shopping area). There is also a nice restaurant nearby on Beach Road. One problem during my stay was the hotel would run out of water pressure and toilets would not flush and we could not get any water. This was usually fixed within a few hours.

Swimming pools, activities, food
The Royal Cliff hotel is lovely, the various pools are amazing and the breakfast is to die for but unfortunately this hotel mainly caters for the Russian tourists, one of the guest relations staff only spoke Russian, could not speak English at all. Also the hotel does offer 30 minute internet time in their business room but does not offer wifi, or only offers wifi for a pretty significant fee. On the plus side we had the most adorable room cleaner called Sahorn who made a really big effort making us feel welcome in our room and folded towels into Swans, crabs and rabbits, she’s a gem. The hotel is pretty far from Pattaya Beach and Jomtien so Tuk Tuks were needed to get anywhere costing anywhere between (depending on the driver) and the hotel shuttle bus only operates 3 times a day from 1400.
Hotel Feature Tip : swimming pools, check out the pool at the fitness center, its amazing
Model resort hotel, good staff, excellent amenitie

private beach, excellent bf
a twin bed is assigned upon check-in(2pm) without asking. we found out until we get in the room. the escort staff was very nice, call to the recp to change another room. but there was a 10 minutes wait until we have a king-bed room. the new room have same excellent seaview, renovated with new sofa, bed-runner and cupboards fresher than the 1st room assigned. everything is good in the room except that the light beside the bed goes on and off automatically all night, can’t be switch off or stay still, but we were too tired to get help. but that is the only thing we can say about the room, everything else was excellent. we had a great time in the seafood restaurant by the private beach. good food and reasonable price. but there are millions of flys sharing the lunch with us. the private beach is not crowded, had a great time there until a speed boat bump in and land right in the middle of the beach. and then i found that there are no any life guard or hotel staff standby and fix the issue. the hotel have shuttle to the city center at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm. you have to book a seat in advance or otherwise you have to call ‘taxi’ which cost at lease to get to the main area(8km). the bf is excellent, with wide variety of food, fruit juices and great coffee.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Better book a tour that can pick you up from the hotel. It is a hassle to get transport from the hotel to anywhere.
Nice poolarea + beach acess

Quiet area but only 5 min by car if you want nightlife
good rooms and very nice for a lazy weekend, but not so much to do outside the hotel area. they have a free bus to pattaya, but the last roundtrip are 6 pm!!!! have very high price for eat and drink at the hotel so maybe thats why the want to keep the guest in the hotel in evenings. but it’s a very good place for relax and play in the swimmingpools have many to chose
Travel tip : Don’t check in/out around midday, that take long time.
Location : Jomtien Beach
Great location for beach, privacy, shopping and eating
The resort is very nice and also very private, like being at home while in our room. The decor was great, very much in the Thai tradition, beds could have been a little softer. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restraunt was very convenient also, it has a nice breakfast buffet and the evening grill was also quite appetizing. The resort sits right off the beach and was very convenient getting to the water. I will go back!

Great Weekend Getaway
This resort was exactly what we were looking for our weekend getaway. It was in a quiet area and we liked how we didn’t need to cross a busy road to get to the beach like a lot of the other hotels. The pool area is beautiful with a lot greenery surrounding it. Rooms were large and confortable. Overall our stay at the rabbit resort was perfect. We will stay there for certain if we are ever in Pattaya again and I will recommend it to others who are traveling in the area.

The perfect place to stay in Pattaya!
The courteous staff was something to behold. It started with the driver arranged to meet us at the airport and didn’t end until the moment we checked out. The bungalow rooms are quite amazing, as are the beautiful grounds the property sits on. The location to the beach cannot be beat. The inclusive breakfast will satisfy even the pickiest.
I wish there was a screened in dining area, as the bugs were a real nuisance.
I would recommend the Rabbit Resort to anyone visiting Pattaya, Bangkok. The beautiful property sits right on the beach. The private bungalows are nestled in a lush garden setting. The security is awesome. The staff tends to every need imaginable. I can’t wait to return.
Location : Central Pattaya
Hightly Recommend for Pattaya Night Life Lovers!!!
Sunshine Hotel is in located in Pattaya soi 8, the well known nightlife area. In my opinion this hotel is a good value. It was worth the money I paid to stay here. i enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is centrally located and has a drug store almost next door and a convenience store close. The Pattaya beach is also easily accessible for this hotel. The night life starts about 75 feet from hotel entrance.
I arrived at the hotel and checked in easily I was taken to my room and it was nice. I received a free breakfast . The room was taken care efficiently. The view from my room was nice. 2 very nice pools and one for the kids.
There are 2 or 3 Sunshine Hotel in Pattaya, one is service apartment another one in North Pattaya, make sure that you book the right one.
Are you Searching for the BEST RATE Hotels Booking in Pattaya?
As a traveler, I have been traveled a lot especially to Pattaya. I have checked many many websites to find the best place that fit my needs with the best rate of the Hotels for my trips. Good vacation starts from good staying place, the place that will let you enjoy what you like without hassle. Here is 10 steps to find the best hotels with the best rates.
1.Make a TO DO list
First of all, you should know what you like to do on you vacation? You may like to enjoy sightseeing to see a new place and spend almost all day outside the hotels, have fun with sport activities on the beach in front of your hotel, shopping, entertainment and nightlife or just relax on the beach or poolside.
You may want to do everything, don’t worry, Pattaya can serve all that, you just make a list to make sure that you will get the hotels in the location that serve all your TO DO lists. If you travel as a family, make sure you think about everyone’s need.
At this step, when you know what you like to do, now go to the next step.
2.Pick your Hotel Location in Pattaya
For accommodation choices, Pattaya can be divided into 4 main areas: North Pattaya (Naklua Bay), Central Pattaya, South Pattaya and Jomtien Beach. Different styles of hotels are available – hotels, resorts or guest houses – varying by quality, taste, and budget. What ever budget you can afford, there is no doubt you will find an accommodation that is suited to your pocket and life style.
North Pattaya Hotels. I myself like to stay in this area, it’s mainly for relax and poolside sunbath. For water sport, you need to check the hotels facilities as most of the hotels there have private beach. North Pattaya Hotels are quite separate from night life but not too far to reach.
Central Pattaya and the Beginning of South Pattaya hotels are quite the same. Majority is for entertainment and nightlife. If you like to enjoy the beach and water sport activities during daytime, pick the hotel on Beach Road. South Pattaya will give you a plus for street shopping. If you will visit Pattaya with your children and want to stay around here, I suggest not to take them out at night unless you are fine if they will be in the atmosphere of bars and bar girls.
South Pattaya on the Pratumnak Hill, the hotels here is different from other parts of south pattaya, it’s perfect place for family and for those who like to have a real relax and spend most of the time at the hotels like Honeymooners. Many hotels here are luxurious and pricy. Anyway, you can still find 3-4 stars hotels which are value for money.
Jomtien Beach Hotels, most of the hotels here are budget hotels or middle class (3 stars) hotels. Good for budget travelers who want to enjoy the beach and water sport activities. This will be another location I would recommend for family trip. There are also some bars here at the beginning of Jomtien Beach, but compare to central and south pattaya, nightlife here is softer. And for the one who love seafood, at the end of Jomtien Beach, there are many seafood restaurants with fresh seafood and very good taste with reasonable price.
So… what hotels location in Pattaya is your choice?
3.Make a “Must Have” Hotel Facilities List
Swimming pool, Gym, Laundry, Internet Access, Spa, 24 hours Restaurant, Cable TV, Family Suite, Honeymoon Suite, Your Language Speaking Concierge, Clean, Friendly Staffs etc.
Of course, you want all those services but please be aware of your budget. So make sure that you separate the “Must Have” and “Nice to Have” lists.
4.Set up your Budget Range
I will guide you about the hotels class and price range. For the standard or superior room price range is 20-30 USD for guesthouse or budget hotels (1-2 stars), 30-60 USD for middle class (3 stars) hotels, 60-100 for upper class (4 stars) hotels, 90-140 USD for 5 stars hotels. Price can go high up to 300 USD for the high-end luxurious Pattaya hotels such as Sheraton Pattaya Beach Resort.
5.Search for What Hotel is Right for You
Use your list from step 3-4 for the search criteria to narrow your search. For hotels search, I like to search from Agoda. It gives a lot of ideas that other website don’t provide to you.
My favorite is to search from their map, it gives you a good view of where exactly the hotels located, all hotels in the same time. You can easily find if the hotels are directly on the beach or any interesting places nearby. The best of all is the hotels reviews, many good comments of each hotels from the travelers who stayed there before that will tell you about the hotels services, the cleanliness, the convenience and much more that you will not find in the official hotels page.
This step will take some time, make a list of your choices of hotels, can be 1-3 hotels. Do not book hotels at this step.
6.Search for BEST RATE hotels
I used to spend a lot of time searching for the Best Rate for hotels of my choice in Pattaya and all Thailand destination. Now I just spend time searching for only 3 websites to compare prices and promotion. I’m sure that you cannot find any better rate than this 3 agencies. I can not say which one is the cheapest because it’s different rate in each hotel. For example, Marriott Resort and Spa Pattaya is cheapest in website A because there is special promotion, Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya is cheapest in website B….
Curious what are that 3? Here is the 3 websites that I recommend to you for Pattaya and Thailand hotels booking:
Thailand Hotels Agoda and ido24
Please click the links to try your search.
Be careful when you compare the price, Thailand Hotels and Agoda, wil show the price that NOT includes Tax and Service Charge so you have to go all the way to almost payment stage to see the real cost. Ido24 will show you the net price that includes everything.
7.Don’t Forget to Check Special Promotion
Thailand Hotels always offers a good promotion, you can check Pattaya Hotels Promotion here.
8.Should you book now or wait? When is the best time to book hotels?
Sure you can book now, good hotels always fully booked very quick especially in Pattaya because Thai people also like to have vacation in Pattaya plus many festivals and big conferences always be held in Pattaya.
9.If you find the better rate later after booking and payment already made?
I don’t think you can find better rate than this 3 websites, by the way, if you do, Agoda offer the guarantee BEST RATE. You can just contact them and send the booking rate from other websites during the same period of stay and same type of rooms and condition. Then they will adjust the rate for you. Please check their policy again.
10.Print out Your Confirmation and/or Receipt to Show When Check In
This is to prevent any mistake that may happen such as the hotel front staff cannot find your booking. This happened to me sometimes, but with the paper, problem will be solved very quick.
Now you get Pattaya Hotel of your choice at the Best Rate, enjoy Pattaya!!.

March 2009 visit, good hotel and location
Jomtien Palm Beach Hotel – Pattaya: Well situated with all the usual tourist hotel facilities, good sized pool, and the breakfast was the normal international range of foodstuffs that were replaced regularly. I found staff were helpful and pleasant. Rooms were fine but starting to date. The shower is seperate from the bath which was a nice bonus. Hotel is mainly used by Russians and other tour groups which resulted in a lot of door banging from 6 a.m. onwards as they departed on their daily tours. 300 baht charge for 2nd key card was a bit odd but it is refundable.
Close to beach and restaurants, good sized pool
Housemaids were talking loudly early in morning, early morning departing tour groups banging their doors(not hotel’s fault)

Tired hotel but good location
Good location, decent breakfast, lots of facilities, really nice pools, friendly and knowledgeable staff, nice toiletries in bathroom, big room with king bed and twin bed
Hotel needs renovation, room decor is faded and it feels like a 2-3 star hotel, also smells a bit musty, ants were in the room and in the bathroom, mattress was uneven and hard, not many cable channels
Overall the stay was nice. the hotel is in need of room renovation but at least it was clean. at the very least, the carpets need to be removed. because of the carpets the room and hallways were musty smelling and probably not good for anyone with bad allergies and/or asthma. this is a hotel for big tour groups and in the low season it’s fine, but i am sure that in the high season it is far too hectic! the location was great and staff were extremely helpful.

Wish I’d known about this place earlier
In general, I think that this was a really good find. I don’t know many other places where these kinds of conditions / facilities / decor etc are available for less than a thousand baht per night, right next to the beach. There are several restaurants in walking distance, or if you’d like to travel a little further, at the end of the strip is the Famous Loong Saway Thai Seafood restaurant – great food, and Roti and fruit vendors readily available for desert. Our family is quite picky about food and normally try to avoid eating Thai food in places where foreigners frequent as the taste is often below par to suit ‘farang’ or ‘foreign / western’ palates. The food here though was done well in most cases and not unreasonably priced. Upon check-in, there was a potentially volatile situation that the staff handled really well and as mentioned in the ‘pros’ section turned it into a win-win outcome. Overall, as far as value for money, I would give Sarita Chalet a thumbs up and most likely stay there again.

Sarita Hotel – Jomtien on a budget
Good breakfast, beach only 10 metres away, friendly polite staff.
We enjoyed our 5 days at the Sarita, so close to the quiet, clean beach right opposite and only 10 mins bus ride from Walking Street Pattaya. Rooms are clean, maybe a little spartan but I’ve seen worse for more money so no complaints. If you get a henna tattoo on the beach, make sure you clean off the excess before getting into bed, or they will charge you for new sheets….

Love it!
Resort was beautiful and convenient. The room was comfortable and has a nice flooring.
Sarita is one of the best resorts I have been to. It is a nice place at a convenient part of Jomtien beach, with a convenience store right beside. For the sea sports enthusiasts, you can also find plenty of activities, such as banana boating, and jet-skiing right outside. There are tents available for rental too, if you are keen on simply relaxing by the beach.
